Detox to a New Year
If you folks are trends-savvy then,you are in for a treat!
If you are among the people who spend most of their time tweeting,you will definitely know what I am talking about.
The trend is called #foodporn and this is Food Porn: Detox For a New You
Yes,well..as an avid Vogue reader,I came across the said trend in the magazine. The food "looks" mouthwatering,scrumptious,out-of-the-world. Well,it is "porn" in the form of food.It is actually quite amazing because,even the greenest,healthiest of foods are categorized in the trend.Remember the time,when the sight of broccoli used to send us scurrying back to our rooms faster than The Flash (seriously,The Flash ? for those who has no idea who The flash is Google it or don't bother! ) . People nowadays are in the market for greens,you name it!
Speaking of,What are your thoughts on healthy eating ? Willing to turn into Vegan sacrificing the Non-Veg diet you have been on all your life ? 
The year before saw a trend in :1. Cronuts- It's not a Croissant ,it's not a Donut! It's A Cronut!!
2.Avocado : It is one of the healthiest foods ever and rich in Vitamin C .The craze was everywhere-Avocado toast,Avocado in salads,Avocado for skin,hair.....Granted,it has lots of beneficial characters,
but the craze in Avocado Days are slowing down and the crown go to Eggs in 2015 !
*Don't fret,you should still include it in your diet and of course,in your daily regimen.But don't try too hard.
3.Kombucha : I have never even heard of this thing before! Honestly ,I haven't the faintest of an idea of what this is.But Studies showed (I mean,Google showed) that it is a lightly "effervescent","fermented" drink of of sweetened black and/or green tea that is used as a functional food.
It is produced by fermenting the tea using a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast, or "SCOBY". Although kombucha is claimed to have several beneficial effects on health, the claims are not supported by scientific evidence.[1] Drinking kombucha has been linked, in rare cases, to serious side effects and deaths, and improper preparation can lead to contamination.Anyway,the bottom line is "Kombucha" is too flippin' fancy for me to consume/have consumed.
4.Kale ; Folks,Kale is like the Yale of foods! Yes,don't believe it ? Kale Craze has been going on for an awful long time.Kale shirts have also been made in honor of the mighty green. Beyonce has been photographed wearing one quite a couple of times.
It’s not the super-celeb’s first time donning a kale sweatshirt. She wore one on National Kale Day earlier this year, too. The navy one she wears in this video is by Suburban Riot ($48) and it also comes in grey.

5. Ramen; It needs no introduction.It is the holy grail of foods for most of the college students.I find it hard to believe the trend is going to die anytime soon,unless the world runs out of Ramen.
6. Tacos: I love Tacos! Tacos will never die,I like to think so. But the good ol' Fried chicken will take over real soon.

Others are: ,Pork Belly,Coconut water, Sriracha, Quinoa which will pave way for Crawfish,
Seltzer,Mustard and another southern choice-Grits!
New Trends #2: Suede
Let us talk about Fabrics - Suede v. Denim. The year 2014 saw a remarkable trend based on denim.Is 2015 the year of Suede ?
Balmain has an excellent suede bag and knee-high boots.Of course,I being a average wage income girl will not in the near future afford it. Well,Surprise people! You can find even items made in suede in High-street shops.
