NYFW STREET STYLE DAY5

Just because New York Fashion Week falls on President's Day doesn't mean that it's going to go unacknowledged. Showgoers are never ones to shy away from bold colors or patterns, so when they made their way into the presentations on Monday clad in denim, red accessories, blue stripes and swatches of star patterns, it was almost as if it was merely a coincidence. But the first rule of street style is that nothing happens by chance, which makes the subtle (and not so subtle) tributes to the USA on the streets yesterday that more meaningful. Because what's more patriotic than the freedom of self expression?
